Some folks have made some nifty PVC bag stands - I may put that on my project list. I take the bags off and put them on an exercise mat thingie to wash. I use the microfiber cone-shaped sponge to do the wheels. The BL by itself gets good results on dark colors, but it doesn’t stay foamy, and to me Mothers keeps the longest suds. I use a 50/50 combination soap of Mothers California Gold and Chemical Guys Black Light. Damn blue bikes cheat!įor washing, it gets a good spray rinse, followed by a good microfiber wash w/ lots of suds. This is the dirtiest the blue bike has ever been. Here's proof enough I washed my bike last Saturday, then rode 150 miles Sun. It NEVER looks dirty! Effin pisses me off! just bugs show on the windshield, headlight and the black tool bag thing, that i put on the front forks below the headlight. That bike, runs every mile mine does on the same road, same time. My wifes Sporty is the same Blue as your bike, but a two tone with Silver. The Ultra is Blackened Cayenne (dark maroon) It shows dirt and dust easily! Now i use Mothers Quick Detailer before every ride. When the Covid chit broke out, it went away. My favorite all time rag bath stuff was called "Candy Coat", was readily stocked at every So Cal HD dealership i went in. I tried the bug slide, (not a fan) because the bike became a dust magnet afterwards.
